Greg Gerrish, MD, FACS
As a board-certified General Surgeon Dr. Gerrish started to notice that the majority of his patient’s problems were directly related to diet and lifestyle issues. He has a special interest in the treatment of esophageal reflux disease and educates his patients on the importance of a high fiber diet to help treat this. Dr. Gerrish has been eating a plant predominate diet for just over 4 years. He grew up in South Dakota and is an avid hunter, therefore he chooses to continue to eat wild game a few times a week while recognizing the benefits of a whole foods plant-based diet as well as other lifestyle modifications such as adequate sleep and exercise for optimal health and wellbeing.
Dr. Greg Gerrish is a board-certified General Surgeon who completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He completed his undergraduate degree and medical school at the University of South Dakota. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family (wife Alison and their 3 children), hunting as well as other outdoor activities, CrossFit and gardening.
